Note: These are a series of skill-upgrading webinars, i.e., career advisor training. They offer practical ready-to-use knowledge and are not meant to be similar to a conference session. Each webinar provides real-world applicability and key practical career advising tools that can enhance effectiveness in assisting clients or students. Worksheets or handouts will always be provided.

Designed to equip Career Advisors & Settlement Counsellors working with Newcomers to Canada, Mid-career Immigrants and International Students, with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively teach their clients about salary negotiation in the Canadian job market while considering cross-cultural differences. Advisors will learn how to guide clients through pre-employment salary negotiations, salary increases during employment, and exploring compensation beyond salary. The workshop will also provide insights from a Human Resources professional to enhance advisors' understanding of the employer perspectives.
